The Firestone Rubbergard Roof System is a high performing synthetic rubber membrane that offers long-term durability. Its main component is EPDM, which is a single-ply synthetic rubber membrane made of ethylene propylene diene monomer, mixed with carbon black, oils, curing agents, and processing aids. The EPDM membrane is calendered into large sheets and vulcanized, before being fully fixed to an acceptable substrate using Firestone Bonding Adhesive.
